Let’s Drop Out And Go To Anti-Art School
January 28th, 2007 by JP
Great looking event I discovered on livewithculture.ca.
What’s Dr. Sketchy’s? Dr. Sketchy’s is what happens when cabaret meets art school.
Founded in 2005 by artists Molly Crabapple and A.V. Phibes, Dr. Sketchy’s asked a simple question. Why can’t life drawing be sexy? Well, it CAN. Details (grabbed from the page) after the jump.
Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School Toronto – Session #1

Your muse and model for the evening will be the lovely Veronika, aka Priscilla Pussycat of the Shameless Dames.
Excited? You should be!
A few things we need to stress:
This is a bar, so anyone under 19 years of age cannot be admitted.
Although we have a decent sized room, we advise that you keep your sketching kit as compact as possible.
We can’t guarantee any admission to the event after we hit a total of 35 sketchers. Please arrive early to ensure a seat you’re happy with, or contact us at drsketchytoronto (at) gmail.com to get our paypal info and reserve a spot in advance.
We may or may not have media present at our sessions.
