CanAsian International Dance Festival

So, the CanAsian International Dance Festival is happening in Toronto next week, and the programme looks excellent.
The Mainstage Performance is a mixed program that features five world-class performances, and it runs February 22 to 24 at 8:30pm at the Premiere Dance Theatre at the Harbour Front Centre (map here). The Special Performance runs February 23-24 only at 7pm in the Brigantine Room at the York Quay Centre (inside the Harbour Front Centre).

Mainstage Performance

The Monkey and the Princess Iron Fan by Qi Shu Fang Peking Opera Company (New York)
A dazzling display of music, song, martial arts and acrobatics retelling a mythical tale that was adapted from Journey to the West written by Wu Chengen, a celebrated Chinese epic.
Special Performance
Tooboe – The Howl by cokaseki (Berlin)
In an intimate and captivating solo butoh performance based on a story by the Japanese author Hyakken Uchida, buckets of water fall from heaven as Kaseki dances in the pools of water below.
So, here’s what you need to know:
When: Mainstage Performance: February 22 to 24 at 8:30pm. Special Performance February 23-24 only at 7pm.

Details: You can get tickets online. Mainstage Performance – $25 student ($30 regular) ; Special Performance – $15 student ($30 regular); See both shows for only $34 student ($39 regular). Also, they offer a deal to offer a discount to U of T students (and others). If you purchase 10 or more tickets, the cost is only $10 each.
