Hart House Stages – David Myles

March 8th, 2007 by

davidmyles.jpg Tonight, the Hart House Music Committee brings you David Mayles as part of their Stages program.

Singer-songwriter David Myles is fresh off his second album “Things Have Changed” with horns reminiscent of Al Green’s soul music, Mississippi John Hurt-style finger-picking, and rich vocals that fall somewhere between Chet Baker and Paul Simon. Reminiscent of early Ry Cooder, Tom Waits and J.J. Cale, this Halifax-based guitarist and trumpeter is not to be missed.

When: Thursday, March 8, 9:00 PM
Where: Arbor Room (in the basement), Hart House
Details: It’s free! So come and enjoy. You can listen to some of David Myles on his website.
