Japanese Rock Invasion – The Zoobombs
March 8th, 2007 by JP
It seems like the musical heavens are perfectly aligned this week to give us maximum musical awesomeness! With Canadian Music Week and the Pitter Patter Music Festival providing a huge lineup of awesome shows, it really seems like we couldn’t ask for more great music. But ask or not, thou shalt receive!
Because… The Zoobombs are coming to Toronto! Don’t know who they are? Neither did I, until a few weeks ago. But let me tell you, these guys rock. They’ve played at Canadian Music Week before in 2005 and you can read about them from Eye Magazine and Now Magazine. Fresh off their 8th album release BBB, they’re touring Canada, and you have three chances to catch them live. Read on for show details!
So, most of their songs are in Japanese, and my Japanese is about as good as my French (which is tres terrible). It doesn’t seem to matter though, because I totally dig these guys, and it seems that I’m not the only one . Afterall, rock is a universal language! Check it out for yourself by visiting their Myspace page.
