Pitter PatterIt’s a great weekend to be a music fan in Toronto. To add to Canadian Music Week, the Zoobombs, David Myles, and Sarah Jerrom, the Inaugral Pitter Patter Music Festival is happening. It might not feature the big names that Canadian Music Week does… but it has some fantastic local talent on display… admittedly this might be a little late going up as the first four shows happened last night, but there is plenty of goodness in store.

For starters the Thurstons who I’ve heard good things about open the night at The Central tonight. The Rural Alberta advantage takes the stage between Jewish Legend and The Rest and The Embassy which should be a great show.

Better yet on Friday you can catch The Diableros at the Boat… and, As The Poets Affirm (a great post-rockish band) take the stage at Hal’s Ballroom which should also be interesting.

The fun continues Saturday when you can catch Friday Morning’s Regret at The Central and the Mark Inside at the Boat. Even better, even though all the CMW festivities clse out on Saturday, Pitter Patter carries though to Sunday night.

Check the schedule out here and torontoist’s post here.
