Victoria College Environment Week

You may not have taken to time bus all the way down to UTM to take part in their Environment Week, but that’s understandable. Not to worry, this week, we have an environment week going on at St. George campus, organized by none other than Victoria College. (Futher fueling my on-going love and praise for Vic. College’s student life)

TUES MARCH 27th
BikeChain Workshop: Gear up for Spring – bring your bike or just come to learn! 5pm, Cat’s Eye
VUES Movie Screening of “Manufactured Landscapes” in the Human Bean Cafe lounge in Old Vic (91 Charles St. West) at 8:30pm [free fair trade coffee and organic popcorn]
WED MARCH 28th:
NOW Magazine’s Ecoholic writer will do a workshop on hidden toxins in our environment and bodies. Another highlight topic will focus on how to go garbage free! Cat’s Eye 5pm [Free refreshments]
Captain planet Survivor Challenge Obstacle Course, MAH field 7pm. Be there or be square!
THUR MARCH 29th:
Metamorphosis: Environmental Fashion Show!!, Cat’s Eye 8pm, $5 proceeds go to charity. Facebook event page here.

FRI MARCH 30th:
‘Green’ Faculty Friday with Ingrid Stefanovic, Director of the Centre for Environment. [Free refreshments] in the Cat’s Eye 4pm.
Cat’s Eye is located across the long driveway from Margaret Addison (140 Charles St W). Look for the neon sign.
