Young Social Entrepreneurs Pitch Competition
On March 25th from 6-9PM, YSEC will be hosting a pitch competition for young social entrepreneurs at the Centre for Social Innovation. With judges from organizations such as the Canadian Youth Business Foundation, they’ll be selecting a winner from our exciting three finalist projects. The $1,000 interest-free loan prize is funded by Canada’s first for-youth-by-youth social entrepreneurship fund – YSEC’s Social Finance Chain. Winners will also receive 5 hours of free consulting through The Institute of Entrepreneurship and Community Innovation at George Brown College.
After the pitch competition, there will be a typical YSEC MeetUP with a chance to network and catch up with other young social entrepreneurs.

re:Vision 2010 Conference
In partnership with SIG@MaRS, YSEC is launching its first entrepreneurship conference for young leadership called re:Vision 2010. YSEC is bringing together the top young change makers, a line-up of top local and international speakers and facilitators for a weekend of workshops, skill-development, and instruction. re:Visionists will use the weekend to supercharge their initiatives, harness innovation, and build sustainable projects. So if If you’re a) an Organizer, entrepreneur or activist, b) 17-30, and c) demonstrated leadership and a commitment to change in your community, you should be at re:Vision 2010!
