About blogUT

blogUT is a blog about the University of Toronto written by U of T students. The site is dedicated to news, events, and all information of interest to the University of Toronto student body. We cover topics from general, to specific, to whimsical.

blogUT started because we saw a need for a central, accessible source of information for the massive U of T student body, to allow students to get more involved and more immersed in the multitude of things that take place at the University of Toronto. We just want everyone to have more fun at U of T.

Founder:
JP did his undergrad at U of T in Engineering Science and then a Master’s in Electrical Engineering. Yeah, he’s definitely an old timer. He started blogUT in 2007 after feeling that there was something lacking in his student experience: big school, tons of things going on, but he felt very disconnected from it all. His hope is that blogUT will serve as a link to U of T student life, highlighting the interesting things on campus and helping people have more fun.
Editors:
Lori is in her 4th year of undergraduate Computer Science. She enjoys writing about quirky things and making lists, if you have not already noticed. When Lori is not blogging, she is probably still on the computer, watching chick flicks, eating tasty vegetarian food, or petting strange cats.
blogutjustineJustine is an avid learner who is in her third year of undergraduate studies specializing in Political Science and Sociology. She is an explorer of the world traveling to foreign lands, getting lost, and finding her way back. You can easily lure her in with anything of or related to jazz, bossa nova, crêpes, and/or Don Draper. Above all else, she is more than thrilled to join the extraordinary team of editors here at blogUT!
